Start-up mission to Slush Helsinki 2025

On 19 and 20 November 2025, Slush will take place in Helsinki. This mission targets Dutch start-ups and scale-ups looking to position themselves within the European tech ecosystem. Slush brings together a carefully curated audience of start-ups, world-class investors and tech journalists.

About the mission

Slush is a non-profit organisation on a mission to support founders who want to change the world. The annual event in Helsinki has grown into Europe’s leading start-up event. Slush stands for quality over quantity, focusing on relevance, tangible value and actionable insights for building companies. No fluff, just substance.

Preliminary programme overview

While the programme is still being developed, it is expected to include:

  • Participation in Slush as part of the Dutch delegation

  • Networking opportunities with investors, media and international start-ups

  • Workshops and sessions offering practical growth strategies

  • Visibility within the Slush community

Who should join

This mission is intended for Dutch start-ups and scale-ups with a tech-driven proposition seeking exposure to the European investor landscape. International growth potential and some experience are required. RVO will select participants based on their fit with the Slush profile.

Exploring international opportunities aligns with how NXTGEN Hightech Agrifood aims to strengthen its ecosystem. A joint visit is not only a chance to get to know a new country and market, but also an opportunity to form valuable new connections with fellow participants. Travelling together often leads to insights and contacts that wouldn’t surface as easily on your own.

Costs and conditions will be announced at a later stage. Travel and accommodation expenses are at your own expense. The number of places is limited.
