WCM Summer School 2025

The 14th edition of the WCM Summer School will take place from July 21 to 25, 2025, at 't Harde, The Netherlands. This intensive program is designed for technical Master’s and PhD students, as well as young professionals within 10 years of graduation, who have a keen interest in Maintenance Management & Engineering. Participants will engage in workshops led by top Dutch professors, focusing on state-of-the-art maintenance tools and approaches. The knowledge gained will be immediately applied to a real-life case study, challenging participants' analytical skills and creativity.

Casestudy: hightech remanufacturing

The 2025 case study centers on high-tech remanufacturing in collaboration with KMWE and Brainport Industries. As the high-tech industry faces challenges related to sustainability, resource scarcity, and efficient material usage, remanufacturing—restoring used or obsolete high-tech products and parts—offers a strategic asset management solution. Participants will explore how to:

  • Integrate diverse material streams

  • Optimize technological and logistical processes for efficiency and profitability

  • Contribute to a circular economy within the high-tech sector

  • Offer competitive advantages in sustainability and innovation
