A working day to actively test collaboration in AI and digitalisation
AI and digital technologies in greenhouse horticulture are evolving rapidly, but applying and scaling them depends on choosing the right partners. During Digital Technologies and AI in Horticulture, you will meet a selected German delegation alongside the Dutch ecosystem, with dedicated time for meaningful conversations.
You use the day to assess which collaborations make sense, what integration with your systems and processes requires, and what a realistic next step looks like. You leave with a focused shortlist and a concrete follow-up you can act on immediately.
Programme Digital Technologies and AI in Horticulture
The programme runs from 22 to 24 June. On 22 June, company visits and a sector briefing help the German delegation understand the Dutch context and practice.
On 23 June, the conference day takes place at the World Horti Center from 09:30 to 17:00, including presentations, introductions from German participants with real-world applications, scheduled meet and greet sessions, and a networking reception.
On 24 June, additional visits, a closing debrief, and time to define next steps are scheduled.

Why you should not miss Digital Technologies and AI in Horticulture
You engage directly with German organisations that play an active role in the digitalisation of greenhouse horticulture, allowing you to quickly assess what fits your situation.
You meet parties working with sensors, climate control and smart lighting to measure and steer cultivation. You connect with companies automating operations through robotics, autonomous systems and indoor growing solutions. You also meet organisations making cultivation and operations more predictable through AI software, computer vision and data platforms.
These conversations help you understand what integration with existing systems requires, where a pilot makes sense, and which collaborations have real potential for scaling across Europe.
Who should attend Digital Technologies and AI in Horticulture
This day is relevant if you are making decisions on AI, data and automation and want to quickly identify which partners are relevant for you.
For agri-tech and data solution providers, the focus is on finding partners for pilots, integration into existing value chains and demonstration environments.
For greenhouse growers, the focus is on improving efficiency, optimising energy use and reducing labour through sensing, control systems, decision support and automation.
Research and knowledge institutions can explore validation and joint development, while policymakers and advisors gain a clear view of what is practically applicable and which conditions accelerate collaboration.
NXTGEN Hightech Agrifood helps shorten the path from exploration to collaboration
This event is designed as a working session, aligning with how NXTGEN Hightech Agrifood connects parties around applied innovation. By bringing together Dutch initiatives and German providers, you expand your understanding of roles and opportunities within the ecosystem.
At the same time, it supports faster decision-making, because you are not just listening, but actively engaging in conversations and defining concrete next steps.
