Brazil shows where climate adaptation and precision agriculture come together

If you want to grow internationally with precision agriculture, irrigation, data, sensors, AI or system integration, interest in a market is not enough. You want to know where the demand is, which parties matter and how your solution fits local growing conditions. The Brazil trade mission brings Dutch companies closer to that reality. In an agricultural sector dealing with heat, drought, soil depletion and unpredictable rainfall, you can test market needs, potential partners and next steps in the Brazilian farming practice.

Market context, matchmaking and field visits in one mission

The programme combines market insight, in depth knowledge and direct meetings with parties in Brazilian precision agriculture. This gives you not only information about the market, but also the opportunity to test your own solution against real practice.

You will gain market context through an introduction to precision agriculture in Brazil, participation in the Brazilian precision agriculture congress, ConBAP, and a visit to the Global Conference on Precision Agriculture. The programme also includes seminars, round tables and the Orange Dialogue with relevant stakeholders in Brazilian precision agriculture.

At the same time, meeting people is central to the mission. Through individual 1 to 1 matchmaking, networking events and conversations with local parties, you gain a clearer view of potential customers, partners and knowledge contacts. Technical field visits to organisations including CEDRA, Embrapa, GDM Group and agricultural companies show how technology is applied in practice.

This creates a programme that helps you understand the Brazilian market from several angles. You see how companies and knowledge partners deal with climate risks, water use, soil management, monitoring and decision making in daily farming practice. This combination makes it clear where Dutch technology can connect and where local adaptation is needed.

Why this mission is relevant for your market exploration

Brazil is not only interesting because of the scale of its agricultural sector, but especially because of the urgency of the challenges it faces. Extreme heat, drought, changing rainfall and pressure on natural resources call for resilient cultivation systems, more efficient water use and better informed decisions. For Dutch companies with solutions in measurement, control and automation, this mission offers a concrete starting point. You gain insight into market needs, speak with potential partners and customers, and assess which next step makes sense for your international plans.

Who is the Brazil trade mission for?

The mission is relevant for Dutch companies active in precision agriculture, irrigation, climate adaptation and related technologies. This includes entrepreneurs, business developers, export managers, directors and commercial or strategic leads in agritech, digital farming, high tech horticulture, autonomous systems, data platforms, monitoring technology and system integration. The mission is suitable for companies already doing business in Brazil, as well as companies that want to explore the market and need reliable introductions, local context and focused conversations.

Looking more broadly at the international application of high tech Agrifood

NXTGEN Hightech Agrifood shares this mission because of its strong connection with high tech agrifood and international application. The trade mission shows how Dutch technology can be tested in different growing conditions, scales and market contexts. For participants, Brazil offers an environment to broaden application opportunities and explore how data, sensors, AI, robotics and system integration can contribute to climate resilient agriculture beyond the Netherlands.
