Fruit Logistica 2025 brought together international sector and innovation

From 5 to 7 February 2025, Berlin was once again the place where the international fruit and vegetable sector came together during Fruit Logistica. This global event offered a unique opportunity to explore new markets, discover innovative technologies and make valuable connections. Orchard of the Future, NXTGEN Hightech Handsfree Agrifood and Next Fruit 4.0 were present to share insights on the role of automation and smart technologies in a future-proof fresh produce sector. International collaborations and knowledge exchange played an important role, which not only accelerated innovation, but also improved and further expanded it.

International cooperation brought new perspectives

The presence of delegations from countries including the United States resulted in valuable discussions with pear growers, warehouse managers and researchers. By sharing knowledge and experiences, new insights were gained into market opportunities, sustainable cultivation methods and more efficient distribution. The international connections laid the foundation for broader collaborations, so that innovation is not limited to one region, but has a global impact.

Technological innovations provided concrete solutions

With projects such as Orchard of the Future, Next Fruit 4.0 and NXTGEN Hightech Handsfree Agrifood it became clear how robotization and digitalization contribute to a more efficient and sustainable sector. Smart data analysis, autonomous systems and advanced automation make cultivation and logistics smarter and more future-proof. On the trade fair floor and during presentations this technological progress was made tangible and discussions arose about how companies can apply this in practice.

With more than 2,800 exhibitors from 145 countries, Fruit Logistica 2025 once again offered a complete overview of the latest developments in the Agrifood sector. The presence of NXTGEN Hightech and the involvement in international collaborations underlined the importance of innovation and connection.

Next year, Fruit Logistica will be organized again on 4, 5 and 6 February 2026.
