Semicon 02: Next Generation High Tech System architectures

This project aims to develop new system architectures for high-tech machines and equipment in the semiconductor industry. It focuses on enhancing system performance to meet the demands of industry roadmaps, support the continuous advancements outlined by Moore’s Law, and enable the expansion of the semiconductor sector—for example, through the industrial scaling of photonic chips.

By investing in innovation in fundamental technologies, particularly in the fields of mechatronics and systems engineering, this leading position is maintained and further strengthened. The project promotes multidisciplinary knowledge development and integrates new design methods and materials to improve future system performance.
